pH minus – A preparation for reducing the pH of pool water and hot tub water

The ideal pH value when using chlorine-free and chlorine water disinfection is 7.2-7.6. If the pH leaves this defined range, there is a decrease in effectiveness and an increase in the consumption of disinfectants. At low ph (pH < 7.2), the metal parts of the pool and hot tub corrode and the colors of the plastics and films in the pool and hot tub fade faster. At a high pH (> 7.6), the water becomes cloudy and algae forms. Conjunctiva and skin irritation may also occur.

Properties:

The preparation pH minus is in the form of yellowish pearls, well soluble in water. The aqueous solution of the pH minus product reacts acidic, and therefore the pH of the water is easily reduced with it.

Dosage:

10 g of the pH minus product per 1 m3 of water will reduce the pH value of pool water and hot tub water by 0.1. Dispense a measured dose of the product into a container with water, mix and add to the pool water and hot tub water. Dosing with the circulation switched on.

In case of eye contact:

Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if worn and if they can be removed easily. Continue rinsing; P310 Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor; P501 Dispose of contents/container as hazardous waste.
