Filter cartridge cleaning is an important task that helps maintain optimal circulation in the hot tub and extends the life of the filter itself. Here is a general procedure for cleaning the filter cartridge:

Removing the filter cartridge: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to remove the filter from the skimmer (filter housing). This is usually a simple process, but be careful not to damage the filter or surrounding components.
Cleaning: There are several ways to clean the filter depending on its type and material. We recommend using the REGENERATOR cartridge filter cleaner, which effectively dissolves organic dirt and regenerates the filter fabric.

If you decide not to use the REGENERATOR, rinse the cartridge filter thoroughly with a strong stream of water, whether in the shower, outdoor shower, or garden hose.

Check and reinstall: After cleaning, reinstall the filter into the skimmer in your hot tub or Swim Spa. The cleaning process may vary depending on the filter type and the equipment in which it is used.
