    How to proceed correctly

    Measure chlorine

    with the drop tester (free and total).

    Insert 1 MAXI tablet

    into a floater/skimmer for every ~10 m³ of water. Repeat every 5–8 days or according to testing and bather load.

    Target free chlorine range

    for normal home use is typically 0.3–0.5 mg/L. Adjust dosing based on test results.

    Regularly check pH as well

    (ideally 7.2–7.6) for optimal chlorine effectiveness.

    Warnings and safety

    • Wear protective gloves when handling; do not mix tablets with other chemicals, especially acids.
    • Store out of reach of children, in the original container, and in a dry place.
    • Follow the instructions on the product label and the tester manual.
     

    How often should I add tablets?

    As a guide, 1 tablet per 10 m³ of water lasts 5–8 days; always follow your tester results and the bather load.

    Does the tester measure free and total chlorine?

    Yes, Duke Cl measures both free and total chlorine in the range up to 10 mg/L, approximately 120 determinations per kit.
