    Chlorine Chemical Package – hot tub water maintenance

    Chlorine Chemical Package combines proven MAXI chlorine tablets with an accurate Duke Cl drop tester, so you always have disinfection and value control under control. The tablets dissolve slowly and release active chlorine, which destroys bacteria and prevents algae growth. The tester allows quick control of free and total chlorine and helps keep values within the recommended range.

    How to proceed correctly

    Measure chlorine

    with a drop tester (free and total).

    Insert 1 MAXI tablet

    into the floater / skimmer for every ~10 m³ of water. Repeat after 5–8 days or according to measurement and water load.

    Target free chlorine range

    in normal household use is usually 0.3–0.5 mg/l. Adjust the dosage according to the test results.

    Also check pH regularly

    (ideally 7.2–7.6) for optimal chlorine effectiveness.

    Warnings and safety

    • Use protective gloves when handling, do not mix tablets with other chemicals, especially acids.
    • Store out of reach of children, in the original packaging and in a dry place.
    • Follow the instructions on the product label and the tester manual.
     

    How often should I refill the tablets?

    As a guide, 1 tablet per 10 m³ of water lasts 5–8 days; however, follow the tester results and water load.

    Does the tester measure both free and total chlorine?

    Yes, Duke Cl measures free and total chlorine in the range up to 10 mg/l, approximately 120 determinations per kit.
