The DUKE pH tester is a practical tool for quick and accurate measurement of the pH value in your hot tub or pool. The tester allows up to 120 tests within a range of 6.2–8.5, ensuring that your water stays in optimal condition for safe and comfortable bathing. The ideal pH value for pools and hot tubs is between 7.2 and 7.6.
The tester is supplied in a handy plastic blister pack and includes reagent, test tubes, a laminated color standard chart, an instruction manual, and technical information. Thanks to its easy use and clear instructions, the tester is also suitable for beginners.
pH Measurement Procedure:
- Rinse the cup and lid thoroughly with the water being tested.
- Fill the cup with water up to the mark and add 5 drops of reagent.
- Close the cup, gently shake, and determine the pH value using the included color chart.
- Compare from a height of 3–5 cm above a white surface, under optimal lighting conditions.
