A cartridge filter is a device that is used to purify water or other liquids. It consists of an empty cylindrical container into which a cartridge is inserted. The cartridge contains a filter that captures dirt and particles in the water.
There are many different types of cartridge filters that differ in their specifications and uses.
- Antimicrobial cartridge filters: These filters contain special substances that destroy bacteria and other microorganisms in the water. They are ideal for use in places where water is at risk of contamination.
- Replaceable cartridge filters: These filters have replaceable cartridges, which makes filter maintenance easier. Once the old cartridge is clogged with dirt, just clean it to increase the life of the filter. If the filter is very clogged, just replace it with a new one.
