Result within 30 seconds
For accurate colour comparison, test in daylight and observe both the immersion and reading times.
Take a sample
Take the water into a clean container about 30 cm below the surface, away from jets, the skimmer and dosing points.
Remove one strip
Do not touch the reagent pads. Close the bottle tightly immediately after removing the strip.
Immerse for 2 seconds
Immerse the strip in the sample for 2 seconds. Do not stir or move it around in the water.
Wait 30 seconds
Hold the strip horizontally. Do not shake, wipe or dry it.
Compare the colours
Compare the reagent pads with the colour chart on the bottle, ideally in natural daylight.
Adjust the water
Based on the result, gradually adjust alkalinity, pH, hardness and finally the disinfectant level.

Instructions for accurate testing and storage
- Do not touch the strip's reagent pads with your fingers.
- Always close the bottle tightly immediately after removing a strip.
- Leave the desiccant inside the bottle.
- Protect the strips from moisture and direct sunlight.
- Do not use strips that are expired, damp or damaged.
- Do not drink the water sample in which the strip was immersed.
- Compare colours in good light, ideally daylight.
- If the colour does not match the scale, use a new strip.
- Keep out of reach of children.
