    How to measure correctly

    Follow these 4 simple steps.

    Rinse the vial

    with the sample water and fill to the mark.

    Add drops

    5 drops of reagent C1 and 5 drops of C2, cap and mix.

    Wait

    about 2 minutes, then compare the color with the standards on the color card (read the chlorine value).

    Match the color

    For better accuracy, hold the vial at eye level and match the color intensity to the swatch.

    test in the shade (diffuse light); do not compare colors in direct sunlight. Slow color development can indicate a higher proportion of combined chlorine (wait 2–3 min).

     

    Safety & maintenance

    • After use rinse vials/cuvettes with clean water (mild soapy solution if needed) and let them dry thoroughly.
    • Store in the original packaging, cool and dry (5–20 °C), away from food and children.
    • Keep out of sunlight; after dispensing drops, close bottles immediately.
    • Chlorine reagent contains acetic acid (≈ 20%)—irritating to skin and eyes; if contacted, rinse with water and follow the instructions in the manual.
